Simple Pleasures is a 1930s gas station full of 20s-70s iconic autos, toys, neon advertising, and more. Like a time capsule, we connect seniors to their youth and warmly reflect memories that define the America of yesterday. With Simple Pleasures Motor Coach Travel Tours, our guests don’t just look around; they connect with their surroundings and participate in the fun! Tour groups are entertained by the property owners and enjoy the Simple Pleasures tour elements including a car barn tour, a “Diana Shore” choir, nostalgic activities with a real spinner board, and more. They’re also treated to smoked ribs & chicken dinner and ice cream sundaes before their three hours of fun is capped with a “spinner boy hat” and a big, fat chocolate cookie. Simply put, seniors love Simple Pleasures!
Motor Coach Specifics
- Large parking and turning space for the largest motor coaches.
- Handicapped friendly with golf cart available and very little walking.
- A departing thank-you gift bag is given to each guest in name of host organization.

Nestled in the Ozark Mountains in the town of Bella Vista, Ark., our property is lush and green, just like the surrounding area. We’re just minutes from the nationally known Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Museum of Native American History. A stop at our venue goes well with a tour to the birthplace of Wal-Mart and Walton’s Five and Dime, and we’re not too far from the hustle and bustle of Branson, Mo. After a full day of touring sites like these, a stop at Simple Pleasures is relaxing, fun and comfortable.
Dining
Delicious homemade meals, smoked meats and professional entertainment options accentuate your Simple Pleasures experience. All meats are cooked over an oak-fired open flame or slowly smoked using hickory/oak wood. Choose from several dining/entertainment package combinations.

Ken designed and constructed the unique Simple Pleasures architectural and landscape features to complement gatherings and beautiful photo images. His background as the CEO of a large corporation helps him deliver excellence to all Simple Pleasures visitors and clients.
Elaine Miner
Elaine’s talents as both a graphic designer and lifetime gardener are on display throughout the Simple Pleasures grounds. In addition, this Kansas City native can cook up some delicious barbecue—something our guests rave about when we provide catering for their events.
Emolin Holguin
Emolin worked and coordinated many large and small Simple Pleasures events. Her attention to detail guarantees you will enjoy your day because Emolin has your back…helping you plan, overcoming last minute issues and managing your time line so that family and venders stick to it. Emolin instills “can do” confidence.
